10 Mar 2007 - Triumphant Under 11's Rugby

Saturday March 10th the Under 11 Rugby Team Won the Bridgend and District Schools' 10-A- Side Rugby Plate Tournament at Bryntirion Comprehensive School.

Our group consisted of 2 of the largest schools in the Bridgend Borough, Nottage and Litchard Primary's.

We played Nottage first winning 5-0

Next we lost 15-0 to Litchard which meant that we entered the Plate Competition.

We then played a strong Mynydd Cynffig JS in the semi-final and won 5 - 0 to progress to the final.

The final was a close fought affair where we played Pen Y Bont Primary School eventually winning by 7 -0.

This is a fantastic achievement as we are a small school. The boys played out of their skins and the tackling was the best all season. The support from the parents' was also absolutely fantastic. Thank You.
